JANUARY ACTIVITIES


January 21, 2014- 4 YEAR CELEBRATION


Where: Pinery Country Club
6900 N Pinery Parkway
Parker, CO 80134

Time: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Cost:$15.00 per person before January 14th / $20.00 after the 14th (includes buffet dinner and magic show)

It will be a full evening of fun, buffet dinner, recognition & awards and a MAGIC SHOW!.Back by popular demand will be Dan who entertained us last year.


EVERY RCC Member will be recognized during the evening.Parents, family members and friends are highly encouraged to attend to see what the RCC members have done this past year.

We are ready to start Special Olympics basketball! (This is not an RCC function)

Place: Northeast Elementary (south of Parker next to the Pinery; look for the big white tennis bubble and turn left; school on NE corner).

Dates: Every Saturday, startingJanuary 4th

Times: 8 to 15 year olds at9:00-9:45
16 to 20 year olds at9:45-10:30
21 + year olds at10:30 - 11:15

No experience needed.

 



Denver Nuggets Basketball Adaptive Skills Challenge
This adaptive skills challenge is for participants with special needs to have fun and compete in dribbling, passing and shooting. Separate age divisions are offered for boys and girls, top two winners make it to state finals.

Pre-registration is required by Jan. 6. Registration forms are availableat the Parker Recreation Center, 17301 E. Lincoln Ave., or the Parker Fieldhouse, 18700 E. Plaza Dr.

Scholarships Available- the Parks and Recreation Department is now offering scholarships assistance to adult and youth individuals or groups with disabilities to participate in recreation activities.
