Have you ever thought about visiting a Rotary Club of Parker meeting? This Thursday, June 9, we have an awesome speaker, Comedian SAM ADAMS and his topic is "Your Right To Laugh" . Smooth. Clever. Hilarious. These words are used often to describe Sam Adams, who gained national attention by winning at the 2009 Great American Comedy Festival. In 2015 he received the "Rising Star" and "Best of 2015" awards from GigMasters for being one of the site's most-requested comedians. Meeting begins at 7 a.m. at the Parker Adventist Hospital Event Center.
President Michele Duncan presents Jennifer Walker, Executive Director for the Crisis Center with a check. Ms. Walker took a few minutes to provide an update on what's new at the Crisis Center.
Under the direction of Rotarian Don Clasen, Rotarians Stephanie Ross, Doc Martin, Lew Million, Wayne Wagener and Al Johnson spent the morning sprucing up the gardens around the Gazebo in O'Brien Parker. The Rotary Club of Parker built and donated the Gazebo to the Town of Parker in 2005.
Rotary Club of Parker, Cherry Creek Valley Rotary, Rotary Community Corps and Lutheran High School students came together to assemble 72 back packs with school supplies. This project was made possible with a ROTARY GRANT. To see more pictures please visit the Rotary Club of Parker's Facebook page.
