I am pleased to let the club know that a third host family, Kevin and Julie Min, for our Youth Exchange student, Juuso Haapala, has been found on the recommendation of his second host family. Juuso moved to this families home on March 5. The Min family has two young men who are freshman and juniors at Ponderosa High School. They have invited Juuso to spend spring break with them visiting  national parks. My thanks to those of you who have been searching for a host family for Juuso and have extended the hand of friendship to him.

 

Juuso will be visiting with us during the month of March.

 

Please consider inviting Juuso to join you and your family for an event that you are involved with like a dinner out, a museum, a sporting event, skiing, etc.

Praying Hands will be holding their annual Sweetheart Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser on Saturday, Feb 18th and are in need of a few hands to help set up the silent auction items that morning.

 

We could use about 10 people from 9am-11am at the Douglas County Event Center in Castle Rock. Please let me know if you are able to help.
