Make-A-Wish Foundation
My name is Tina Stroman, and I am honored to be a staff member at Make-A-Wish Colorado. My journey to Make-A-Wish began in the school system. I spent 30 years teaching school right here in Parker, Colorado at Parker Vista Middle School, Sagewood Middle School, Ponderosa High School and Legend High School. During that time, I taught Spanish, Student Leadership, and was an instructional coach for new teachers to the profession.
For ten years, I helped students plan and execute the Wish Weeks at Legend High School. This is where I fell in love with Make-A-Wish Colorado. Watching an entire community come together to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses was incredible and life changing- I was deeply impacted. Therefore, when I stepped away from education, I decided to pursue a position at Make-A-Wish Colorado, and here I am with you all today! I believe that life unfolds in beautiful ways, and I’m so grateful to be part of this great organization.
