The Rotary Club of Parker has been selected by Rotary International to host an Open World delegation of young professionals from the nation of Georgia from June 7-15, 2019.  Members of the Parker club have designed a program around the delegates’ interest in rural tourism.  The delegation will travel to key areas of Colorado to meet with groups such as Chambers of Commerce, hotel associations, guest ranches, wineries, breweries, and economic development authorities.  The delegates will also visit Denver and the Rocky Mountains and will take part in several cultural and community activities.

The general public is invited to attend the special meeting of the Rotary Club of Parker on Thursday, June 13 from 7:00-9:00 a.m. at the conference center at Boondocks Parker (18706 Cottonwood Drive, Parker 80138).  This meeting will provide the opportunity to meet the delegates and learn about the challenges of rural tourism in Georgia.   The cost is $15.00 per person, which includes a breakfast buffet and the event set-up. RSVP with the number of people in your party by June 1 to the Open World Chairman and program designer, Alvaro Pisoni, at pisoni@pisoni.com or 720-837-3394 (cell phone).
