I am heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of our longtime member and friend, Mike Oldham, on November 26.
A member of our club since 1998, Mike served as club president in 2004-2005 and continued his Rotary dedication as District Governor in 2009-2010. We all know of Mike's commitment and involvement with Polio Plus and the Denver Indian Center which he again recently shared with us.
Mike had been a Paul Harris Fellow for many years, believing strongly in our founder's guiding principles. Mention Paul Harris and Mike would tell you about the book we all should read: A Century of Service. I read it and thanked him profusely, and he said back "told you so!"
To his family and his many, many friends, may his memory always live in our hearts.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Parker United Methodist Church (11805 S. Pine Dr., Parker, CO 80134), with a reception to follow.
