MESSAGE from PRESIDENT-ELECT Gail
Visioning is a popular program offered by our Rotary District 5450. Most clubs have been through the program and found it very helpful to develop consensus among members about the direction of their clubs. Healthy organizations are those who have contemplated their future and are taking actions to make that future a reality.

We have completed the first of three steps in the visioning process....1) the Growing Stronger Together survey which points out our strengths and opportunities to improve (taken in late November).

2) The next step is the visioning process itself which will take place on April 6 with between 20 and 25 members participating. Three district visioning team members will facilitate this process from8:30a-12:00n.  Please mark your calendars for this important club meeting. A Parker site will be forwarded closer to the date.

3) After the event, our leadership team will report the results of the visioning process to all members and convert the findings into goals, initiatives and timelines.

All members - veterans as well as new members - are encouraged to participate.  Information obtained from this planning process will help our leadership team develop our club budget for 2019-20 as well as project considerations for the future.  Let me know of your participation at glehrmann@aol.com. Thank you!

Gail

Congratulations on the approval of your District Grant Application for "Medical Supplies Container" Project to Nicaragua. The District Grant (DG19-033) was approved on  March 18, 2019. Only expenditures related to the project that are incurred on or after this date will be covered under the grant. The total amount of the project, as shown in the application, is USD 21,226.80 and the amount of the grant (DDF) awarded by the District is USD 4,000.00.   The District has simplified the process for a Club to receive payment of the District Grant funds. Rather than send funds to the District in order to receive the grant, only a request for grant funds is necessary.
