Message from Mike Oldham
HI everyone. Lets bring happiness to impoverished Indian families through the Denver Indian Center! Please consider these dates:

December 13 food drive in our club. On the 29th a list of needed items will be passed out.  Also on this date I will accept unwrapped gifts for Indian Children ages 1-18. Cost per gift not to exceed $15.   I will deliver the gifts with our food, and food from the Task Force, to the DIC.
December 14 gift wrapping at the Denver Indian Center beginning at 2:00 p.m.
December 15 gift give away to Indian Children and their families beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Thank you all!
Mike Oldham
2018 Parker Christmas Carriage Parade
As has been our tradition in years past, our club will again support the 2018 Parker Christmas Carriage Parade on Saturday, December 8th.  The parade begins at noon.

We need about 8-10 members to volunteer for this year's event serving as parade route safety marshals between 11:00AM-1:00PM.  The parade has become a Parker tradition and is always well-attended.  Safety marshals help make sure that attendees remain on the sidewalk so that the parade route is unobstructed.  Those in attendance readily comply and our service is both fun & a great support to our community.  Wear your Rotary t-shirt or vest and show the face of the Rotary Club of Parker.  There are few better places to watch & be part of the parade.

We will need one of our volunteers to serve as our "group leader" the day of the event.  I will handle the volunteer sign-ups but will be out of the country the day of the actual parade.  Please let me know if you would be willing to serve in this capacity - the event is well-coordinated by the Town of Parker so there is really little required of the leader. I am attaching a link to the Town's carriage parade website for more information: www.ParkerOnline.org/CarriageParade.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to volunteer to serve at the parade:  Mike Endres endresm2009@gmail.com  #720-352-4227 (leave a message if there's no answer).  I will also have a sign-up sheet to circulate at our next weekly meeting which is not until Thursday, November 29th.

Come on out and support our community at this popular annual event and have a good time!
