For this week's column, I thought I would pass along a message (and invitation) that was received from Sam Adams who we had the pleasure of meeting at our meeting earlier this summer.
Hello everyone,
I hope you don’t mind that I’m sending a group email. This is for the Rotary Clubs and its members that I have had the pleasure of speaking to this spring and summer. On August 10 I headline at Comedy Works South located in Greenwood Village/Denver Tech Center. Tickets for the show are $12 (ages 18 and older with ID), but I’d like to offer a deal for you, all of your club members, your families and friends as well. The instructions are simple. Go to ComedyWorks.com— specifically, this link: comedyworks.com/comedians/486 to find my show listed on the club calendar. If you don’t already have an account, set up an account on the site (doesn’t take long, I promise!) Then find my show on the calendar, and when you put in the information that is asked for, make sure you include this promo code: AUGUST … When you use the promo code AUGUST, you will receive half-off the price of every ticket purchased. If you don’t include the promo code, you won’t receive the discount once you hit enter to complete the purchase. Remember to use the promo code AUGUST. This offer will stand expire Aug. 8. You all were very hospitable to me at your meetings, so I wanted to make sure I could return the favor in some way.
