Yum! Big Stuff Food Truck supports the club at the Parker Farmer’s Market September 18 and 25

Many thanks to Big Stuff food truck, which will be at the Parker Farmer’s Market Sunday, September 18 and 25. They are donating their proceeds for those days to the club’s Foundation. Click here for a sneak preview of the menu.

Rotarians are helping out those two mornings to hand out menus as well as information on Parker Uncorked. While we have a basic coverage of Rotarians, there are still some openings left for volunteers:

One Month Until Parker Uncorked!

It’s time to sign up to help at our club’s major new fundraiser, Parker Uncorked. Jobs start at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 15 and run through the afternoon. Click here to go to the online sign-up sheet and view the jobs/times that are available.

While many jobs are filling, two areas where we still need a lot of help are:

Winery greeter and guide (10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.). Meet a winery crew as they arrive, show them where to go, make sure they have the supplies they need. No lifting is involved.
Food truck expeditors (3 shifts: 12:00–2:00, 1:30-3:00, 2:30-5:00). Help outside the Big Stuff food truck collecting meal tickets, making sure each ticket has a name on it, possibly helping to distribute food as it’s ready.

For new members, our club has the practice of NOT holding a morning meeting on any fifth Thursday in a month, and replacing it with a social event that day.
