New Beginnings on the Horizon -- Change of Command Picnic!
We can celebrate being able to meet in person again AND celebrate the upcoming Rotary year in our Change of Command picnic on Saturday, June 26 at Bayou Gulch Regional Park in Parker (4815 Fox Sparrow Rd, near Sagewood Middle School). The official start time is 12:15 p.m. when the BBQ is expected to arrive.  The unofficial start time is 11:45 a.m. if you wish to arrive a bit early.

The Club will be supplying the main course (BBQ from Hickory House) and a couple of TBD side dishes and drinks.  Members are asked to bring a side or dessert item (no need to coordinate what you are planning to bring).  You may want to bring your own chairs as well.

New Rotary Year, New Venue
We have a new venue for our in-person meetings.  Starting on July 1, we will meet in person on the second floor of the Parker Public Library.  We will also continue to provide online access to the meetings for people who are not able to attend in person.  Stay tuned for more details!

Here are two ways you can record your support for the club:

  • Volunteer to take on one of the roles needed to run a meeting, such as leading the Pledge of Allegiance.  You can sign up on the Duty Roster online -- just go to the Home page of the club's website

May 8 -- Joining Rotarians in Service

The Rotary Club of Parker joined with other Rotary clubs in our District in a day of service on Saturday, May 8.  Look at all that Rotarians can do!

Our club's project was to do some spring cleaning in the sensory gardens at Praying Hands Ranch, a therapeutic riding center.  After working, we had the opportunity to learn more about the mission of Praying Hands Ranch while visiting the indoor arena.  We also presented a check to support their work.  To see more photos of our club in action, click here.
