Open World Delegation Visit
The Open World delegates from the nation of Georgia made presentations to the club at a special meeting on Thursday morning, June 13.  We got to hear from each of the delegates and learn more about their backgrounds and areas of interest.

Here are the members of the delegation, from left to right: Gvantsa Abuladze (facilator), Lamara  Mtchedliani, Eduard Partsvania, Miriani Tsintsadze, Aleko Sardanashvili, Elene Bukhaidze.  The men are all wearing headgear that is traditional to Georgia.

The delegates were welcomed by various public figures, including Parker mayor Mike Waid and a representative of the office of Congressman Ken Buck:

The group also had some time for sightseeing packed into their busy schedule.  Here they are at the Colorado National Monument near Grand Junction with hosts Janice and Ron Beller, Li Pettett and Alvaro Pisoni:

Many thanks to Alvaro Pisoni for being the key organizer of the delegates’ visit.  He made it possible for the group to see a wide range of successful ventures related to rural tourism in Colorado.
