Project CURE.  Monday, September 28: 6:00-8:00 p.m.

We volunteer the fourth Monday of the month to sort medical supplies.  For more information and to sign up for September, click here. 

Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack, Parker United Methodist Church.  Friday, October 2, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Join in the fun as we strive to pack 100,000 meals during this weekend Mobile Pack.  We have reserved 12 spots for Rotarians for the Friday evening shift from 6:30-8:30 – sign up yourself and friends and family using this link.  For more information, or if you would like to sign up for a shift on Saturday, October 3, click here.

Parker Task Force Food Drive, Stroh Ranch King Soopers.  Saturday, October 10, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Just a reminder that our morning meeting on Thursday, September 24 will take place at the Legacy Campus of the Douglas County School District (10035 S. Peoria St, Lone Tree, CO 80134).  Our fellow Rotarian, Rex Corr, is the Director of the campus and will be our host.  The campus will be available to us as of 6:30 a.m., and Rex promised that the culinary students will have special treats for us!

Ced Woodard challenges us to become heroes by making a blood donation.  You can be a hero any time, but let's focus on the time between now and Halloween.   Click here to make an appointment to donate blood with Vitalant -- there's a convenient permanent donation site right here in Parker. 

If you aren't able to donate blood yourself, you can also become a hero by signing up a friend or family member to donate blood.

Heroes will be named at the club social on October 29.  Just let Ced know that you have donated blood or made an appointment to donate blood or gotten someone else to donate blood! 

Thank you once again to the Parker and Elizabeth communities for supporting the August food drive for the Parker Task Force!  The Rotary Club of Parker was stationed at the Stroh Ranch King Soopers.  Our teams of Rotarians, family and friends collected

• 61 boxes of food and necessities
• $481 in cash and gift cards

In addition, we collected

• 41 packages of hot dogs, 38 of chicken and 23 of ground beef
• 43 packages of cheese and 22 of butter.

We are grateful for YOUR generous support of the Task Force.

The Rotary Club of Parker has a long-standing relationship with ShelterBox, an international organization that provides shelter-related supplies to locations that have suffered natural or human disasters.  In response to the recent devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, the club sent $10,850 to ShelterBox to help them provide their boxes of supplies to people whose homes were destroyed or damaged.  The funds came from

• donations from individual club members
• funds from the International Committee of the club
• matching funds from the club's Foundation.

One of the local organizations where we volunteer regularly is Project CURE, whose world headquarters is in Centennial.  We help sort the donated medical supplies and then get the supplies into the right bin.  Here is the crew from August 2026, having cleaned up our sorted items.
