We welcomed transfer member Tim Macklin on May 5. Tim is retired from a career in civil engineering with Kiewit. Tim is a hunter, golfer, and traveler.Ask him about his time playing rugby!

The District Governor will be visiting all five Area 4 clubs on August 31, 2022. This will be held at Rocky Vista University between 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Parker. The meeting will be picnic style with hot dogs, brats and buns provided. The University has confirmed that it will be BYOB beer and wine. The meeting will be potluck for all. Please mark this date on your calendar! More information to come -- club members will need to respond with an RSVP. A flyer with details will be sent out later as well as periodic reminders.
The regular morning meeting on August 25 will be cancelled and replaced by this District Governor's visit.
The Rocky Mountain Santa's Convoy of Toys will also be represented at the Governor's visit. This organization provides disaster relief along the Front Range for the children. Santa's Convoy of Toys is requesting members consider bring a $10.00 or up gift card from anywhere to help with their work.
We had two terrific guests on Thursday, April 21: Nikki Brooker, founder and CEO of You Are Not Alone -- Mom to Mom, and her therapy dog Brady, who was generous in spreading some love around the room.

The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards are back in person for summer 2022! RYLA (for high school students who are currently a sophomore, junior, or senior) and Young RYLA (for students going into eighth grade) are week-long youth leadership conferences in Estes Park. The Rotary Club of Parker sponsors students to attend so that there is no cost to participants. Our sponsorships are open to youth living in Parker.
