New Member Ric Schweitzer

From the left: mentor Justin Reyher, Ric Schweitzer, Jim Boyd

We welcome new member Ric Schweitzer.  Ric is a 20-year veteran of the US Air Force, and currently works as the Division Director, Acquisition Mission Operations and Support for the United States Department of Energy (DOE), Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), in the Golden (CO) Field Office.

Ric has jumped right in to serve as the champion of club projects related to the Parker Task Force, such as the food drives.  Welcome, Ric!

Game on!  Cornhole Tournament at the Joint Social Event

Calling all cornhole players!  Come show us your skills at the joint social event Thursday evening, May 25 at Wild Goose Saloon in Parker.  We’ve been challenged by the noon club, who already have a team put together.  If you want to be on the cornhole team, please let Kelly Young know (hausseller@gmail.com).  To register your attendance and that of your guests (no commitment to play cornhole!), please click here.

Scout Support!

We enjoyed getting a report from Eagle Scout candidate Cole Crossman and his project to protect the Lucas homestead at Castlewood Canyon State Park.  And we thank the club and club members who stepped up to help Cole reach his funding goal!  Cole is shown here with his Scoutmaster.
