Joint Social with Cherry Creek Valley Rotary Club of Parker -- Thursday, July 28

This is your final chance to let President Harold McCloud know that you would like to attend the joint social event with the noon club (Cherry Creek Valley Rotary Club of Parker).  We are getting together at Takoda Tavern on Thursday, July 28.    Come any time after 4:30 pm. to have a drink and/or dinner.  Families are welcome! Please let Harold know by Saturday, July 23 how many are in your group (email president@parkerrotary.org)

Rotary Day at the Rockies – Sunday, August 21

For the second year, the District Polio Committee has entered into an agreement with the Colorado Rockies to sell tickets to Rotarians and their guests to attend one of the Rockies’ games. The game this year is Sunday afternoon August 21 at 1:00 p.m. against the San Francisco Giants. The tickets are discounted to us at $31.00, with $5.00 of each ticket sold going to polio eradication. The seats are in the left field lower stands that should be in the shade in the afternoon. This is a great family activity!  We encourage you to buy tickets to sit together.

Click here to go to the District 5450 website, where there is a link to buy tickets.

If Rotary sells 300 or more tickets the Rockies will give the Polio Committee a table on the main concourse where we can tell fans about Polio Eradication and Rotary. Also the Rockies would let our District Governor out on the field before the game to speak to the crowd, which will be very beneficial to Rotary in our District.

Please help eradicate polio and have a wonderful summer afternoon at Coors field cheering on our home team.  Questions? Please contact Mike Oldham at meoldham@msn.com
