Feb. 16, 2025 - Feb. 17, 2025
Every February there are thousands of pots of flowers gracing the Colorado Garden & Home Show at the Convention Center in downtown Denver. At the end of the show, Rotary clubs help pack up the flowers, which are then distributed to nursing homes, senior living facilities, etc. Rotarians, there are two opportunities to volunteer:

The fireside chat is a tradition that has endured as a fun, welcoming social activity that provides new members (within past few years) and prospective members a brief history of Rotary and an explanation of the various opportunities for involvement. Long-time members are also welcome to attend and share their Rotary stories. This is an informal way to learn about community and international projects and find common interests. It is also an opportunity to ask questions on topics such as how to maximize impact as a Parker Rotary club member, how to initiate new projects, and time/financial commitment expectations. |
