President Elect and Director of Membership, Gail Lehrmann, gave a program today on the importance of membership., bringing in new members and retaining our current members. Members are encouraged to invite guests to a club meeting and introduce them to Rotary and what Rotary is about. Please share the Object of Rotary with friends and people you meet when inviting them to come to a meeting.
Object of Rotary:
•Development of acquaintances in order to serve;
•High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
•Ideal of service in each Rotarian’s personal, business, and community life;
•Advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
