Parker Rotarians were well represented at the second annual Charity Pickleball Tournament, held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, an energetic and fast-growing event that brought Rotarians together from across the district for a day of friendly competition, connection, and service.

Fueling the day’s energy was Parker Rotarian Zoe Romero, owner of Cencalli Taqueria, who provided delicious food for all participants. Her contribution was a highlight of the event, keeping players well fed and reminding everyone that service takes many forms, both on and off the court.

Parker Rotarians Kevin Roth and Bob Forbes took to the courts as players, joining 28 teams from Rotary clubs throughout the district.

The tournament, co-organized by the Denver Cherry Creek Rotary Club and the Rotary Club of Centennial, showcased not only some impressive pickleball skills but also the collaborative spirit that defines Rotary. Participants ranged from seasoned players to enthusiastic newcomers, all united by a shared love of service and a willingness to have a little fun along the way.

Between matches, players and spectators had plenty of opportunities to meet fellow Rotarians, swap stories, and learn more about the wide range of impactful projects happening across the district. The tournament created a relaxed, social environment that made it easy to build new friendships and strengthen connections between clubs, reinforcing the idea that service is even more powerful when done together.

Most importantly, all proceeds from the tournament benefited charitable causes, turning every serve, drive, dink, and rally into meaningful support for organizations doing good work in our communities. The combination of fundraising, fellowship, and fun made the event a true win for Rotary and for the causes it supports.

As the tournament continues to grow in its second year, it is quickly becoming a favorite district tradition, blending healthy competition with service and connection. Parker Rotary is proud to have members who participated, supported, and contributed to such a successful event, and we look forward to seeing even more Parker Rotarians on the courts and behind the scenes in years to come.
