After the successful event on July 24 to create hygiene kits to hand out in our community, the kits were first put to use at the Strive to Thrive event on July 27. As noted on their webpage, "Strive to Thrive is a bi-annual event hosted by the Community of Care Network [of Douglas County]...Agencies and organizations come together to offer a one-stop-shop resource fair for vulnerable residents in Douglas County." Here is the Rotary crew ready to hand out hygiene kits. Thank you to all the Rotarians who helped put together the kits, and to the Rotary crew that staffed the Strive to Thrive event! It was a rewarding experience to be among the community organizations providing care to Douglas County.
