Response to the Earthquake in Turkey/Syria
Club member Bob Forbes challenges us to contribute to relief efforts in response to the earthquake in Turkey/Syria.  Let’s see if we can support the purchase of ShelterBoxes to aid the survivors.

To make a donation to the Foundation of the Rotary Club of Parker earmarked for earthquake relief, you can pay by credit card, echeck/ACH, check or Zelle.  In all cases, please note  “ShelterBox” in the Memo or Additional Comments area.

Human Trafficking – It Happens Here
Our speaker on February 9, Deputy DA Jacob Kremin, spoke on the prevalence and impacts of human trafficking in Colorado and in the 18th Judicial District, which includes Douglas County and Parker.
For more information, you can follow the activities of the 18th Judicial District on their website https://www.da18.org/ and on social media:

How can we help?  If you see something that doesn’t look right, call: 866-455-5075 or text: 720-999-9724.  Nationwide, more than 16,000 trafficking victims were identified last year thanks to tips that were reported.
