It is with great pleasure that the Rotary Club of Parker announces the 12th annual Parker Impact Award.
Purpose:
This award recognizes an individual or group of individuals whose service to the Parker community exemplifies Rotary’s motto – Service Above Self. The award is presented at the annual Parker State of the Town gathering held in the spring of each year. In 2023 the State of the Town event is Tuesday, May 23.
Criteria:

The nominee must be an individual, or group of individuals, who provide(s) exceptional service to the residents of the greater Parker community.

They may be serving as an individual, a volunteer or employee of a community organization, or an employee of a company located in Parker.

Examples of actions that might exemplify Service Above Self include, but are not limited to, compassionate actions, humanitarian actions, life-saving actions, or other selfless actions that improve the lives of those within our community.

The nominee’s actions cannot have been recognized by another organization.
How to Nominate:

Rotary Club membership is not a prerequisite for entering a name into nomination, as nominations may be submitted by anyone.

Reasons why the nominee deserves to receive the Parker Impact Award

A short descriptive biography, highlighting the nominee’s Parker connections

For 2023, to assure consideration, nominations must be received no later than March 31, 2023.
Selection:
Upon recommendation by the Impact Award Selection Committee, the Rotary Club of Parker will select each year’s Impact Award recipient(s) from the nominations received. Awardees will be notified prior to the State of the Town event and will be honored as guests of the Rotary Club of Parker. A plaque (or similar type award) will be presented as part of the State of the Town activities.
