One of the highlights of our weekly meetings is when the District Governor pays us a visit. Current District Governor Cindy Rold came to our meeting on October 9. She challenged us to make a point of doing three things every month:
- Check in with someone, by whatever means feels most comfortable
- Invite someone to do something -- not just to attend a Rotary meeting, but to have a coffee, go for a walk -- let that person know that they hve been seen
- Appreciate someone.
If you think of the acronym created by the first letters, it gives a whole new meaning to CIA!
