Our club has had a relationship with the Denver Indian Center since 2010. We will join with two other Rotary clubs (University Hills and Denver Southeast) in two service projects for the holidays. See the details below! You can sign up for as many of the dates as fit your schedule.
November -- Thanksgiving
The first project is to pack and distribute Thanksgiving baskets/boxes for American Indian families. Packing takes place on November 15, 16 and 17 from 9:30 a.m. to noon each day. Then the boxes will be distributed on Saturday, November 18 from 8:00 a.m. – noon. Click on the links below to sign up to help.
Pack boxes on Wednesday, November 15 from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Pack boxes on Thursday, November 16 from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Pack boxes on Friday, November 17 from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Distribute Thanksgiving baskets/boxes on Saturday, November 18 from 8:00 a.m. - noon
December – Holiday presents
In December we will help wrap presents on December 13, 14 and 15, any time between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day. Then we will help distribute presents on Saturday, December 16 from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
Wrap presents on Wednesday, December 13, any time from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wrap presents on Thursday, December 14, any time from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wrap presents on Friday, December 15, any time from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Distribute presents on Saturday, December 16 from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
If you are not able to take part in these projects in person, another way you can help is to donate unwrapped presents for infants up to five years old, or donate wrapping supplies. Please get presents/supplies to Susan Gustin before December 13.
