Kimberley St. John, the current president of the RVURCC (Rocky Vista University Rotary Community Corps), spoke to us on December 5 about some of their projects. How terrific that we can partner with each other in service!
- Sorting medical supplies at Project C.U.R.E.
- Making and serving meals at The Delores Project
- Serving at Wellspring Church’s Wellness at the Well medical clinics. If you have expired medications, in particular inhalers, blood pressure or cholesterol medications, you can donate them to Rocky Vista and they will see that the medications either get used or are disposed of appropriately. - MASH Camp -- providing exposure to the medical professions for high school students on Saturday, February 8. We will have the opportunity to volunteer at that event -- stay tuned for more information. In addition, if you have high school students in your life, you can help spread the word about the event.
